Poems - 2 Crows & "No Title" poem

I have dug out some poems from March of this year for everyone. Poetry has been lagging these days although I have been still writing in other forms. I am trying to hustle and get stuff done in other areas of my life. For the past few weeks I have been deciding between starting a nonprofit, applying to some Ph.D programs or moving again. Finding your footing and place in life can be an interesting experience especially when you are a free spirit, gypsy and the nomadic way of life seems like the best way to live. Its hard to want to settle, its confining on some many levels-spiritually, emotionally and physically! Anyway, in the next few months I am sure things will begin to shift and sort out for me. As for now...enjoy these two poems...

2 Crows

March 12, 2008

Caw!
Two crows,
Pace,
On the ground,
Ascend,
Fly,
We aspire,
To live our lives as simply as the crows.

"No Title"

March 15, 2008

Aboriginal,
Indigenous,
Native,
Supremist,
Mix it,
Shake it,
Give me the best topping,
For the reasons why,
We annihilate,
The true doctors,
Priestesses,
Medicine men,
Medicine women,
Midwives,
Saints,
Sages,
Of the Earth,
To find that we annihilate ourselves.

Yeah I often write as if I am doing a ritual, healing or invocation.

Crows are great! I know you love them... I can SEE that! =)
