Poem - Goddess

Goddess

March 13, 2008

She's been suppressed,
Screaming and crying in a dark corner,
And the room was cold,
And the smell was rank,
And the noise of chains dragged behind her,
She screamed endlessly,
In the dark room,
No angels,
No guides,
Until after crawling on the floor,
Climbing up the walls,
She found a way out,
But a way in,
And all the ghosts were freed,
And all the demons left her side,
The way out disingrated the walls and darkness around her,
Soon the dirt floor became open,
And around her was light,
What emerged was,
Grass,
Growing tall,
Flowers,
Trees,
What came closer were angels,
Guides,
Fairies,
Mermaids,
Elves,
Her tattered and worn clothes were replaced anew,
The darkness that poured into her soul was was now emitting light,
And she was able to rise from the ground,
Because the Earth was her,
When we suppress ourselves,
We suppress the Divine Mother,
We lock ourselves away in darkness,
The Divine Mother will return as we progress into light.
